As a major category of customized work clothes, anti-static work clothes are necessary for safe production in many industries and enterprises.
There are many types of anti-static work clothes, which can be roughly divided into the following types:
1. Antistatic agent is selected for resin finishing of fabrics. The fabric is treated with resin with antistatic agent, and then adhered to the surface of synthetic fiber fabric after rolling and baking, so that the fabric has certain antistatic effect. This method is now only used for civilian clothing to overcome static phenomena such as clothing entanglement, spark discharge, pollution and dust absorption.
2. Antistatic agents such as phosphate, sulfonate and other surfactants are added to the interior of polyester or nylon polymers or a third monomer is introduced to obtain durable antistatic fibers. Because most of the antistatic agents of additives are surfactants that react or decompose in the presence of alkali, alkaline detergent should not be used in fabric finishing or washing to prevent affecting the antistatic effect. This fiber is suitable for dust-free clothing, sterile clothing, and also for civilian clothing.
3. The conductive fiber is mixed into the ordinary fabric. Conductive fibers are mixed into ordinary fabrics. This anti-static fabric is now generally accepted and recognized because it is not affected by the environment. The antistatic property of this antistatic fabric is divided into several different types according to the type of conductive fiber and the distribution of conductive components (metal, graphite, carbon black, etc.) in the fiber. Other composite conductive fibers containing carbon black, graphite and other conductive components can be directly used for weaving filaments. A conductive filament is embedded in the warp at a certain interval (such as about 1.5 cm) to obtain good anti-static effect. It is the best conductive fiber currently used to weave anti-static work clothes.
